Our sun-dried Bronze Fennel has a strong licorice and anise flavour.
Can be used in baking such as bread and biscuits. I use them for soup base, but also can be steamed or grilled. Goes well with fish, pork and poultry dishes. Italian meatball and sausages.
The Romans used fennel as a digestive aid, while in traditional Chinese medicine, fennel was used to treat snake bites.

Enjoy your tea time:
Ground 3-5 leaves for a mug, 6-8 leaves for a pot. Add boiling water and allow to infuse 5 minutes, and serve with honey to increase sweetness.
